OK 61.86

OK 61.86 is a low carbon niobium stabilized stainless steel electrode for welding niobium or titanium stabilized steels of the 19Cr 10Ni-type. Specially designed for use in applications where heat treatment is required. The ferrite content level is quite low causing the OK 61.86 to be a bit sensitive for hot cracking. Despite the low ferrite content level, the maximum working temperature is limited to maximum 400°C. OK 61.86 is not designed to withstand creep and the weld metal would have undermatching creep resistance compared to base materials that are designed to work at higher temperatures.
