OK 61.25

OK 61.25 is a basic coated, stainless-steel electrode of the 308H type. The electrode is designed for high-temperature applications in petrochemical and chemical process plants. Ferrite will transform to brittle phases when exposed to higher temperatures. However, due to the low ferrite content level (max. FN 5), the amount of embrittlement which can occur in the weld metal is rather limited and controlled. The maximum temperature it can be exposed to is 800°C. It is not suitable for applications exposed to creep.
